Thank You so much Liz for your kind words! You can check out her blog at http://classandcircumstance.blogspot.com/ It is my favorite blog by far. Her blog has inspired me to do many of the things I do. Thank you Liz and Amigos de los Animales for all the work you have done in Puerto Rico!

Help Lost & Found Puerto Rico Animals
While trying to help the hopeless Arecibo Shelter, among working with some fabulous people, I got a chance to meet Jennifer. Jennifer is a wonderful woman who lives in Arecibo who has a very busy and active life with a family and a business, who has been helping with the dogs not only at the Arecibo shelter but also others as much as possible. In fact, she started this new and important website to help the animals:www.ayudandoanimalesperdidos.com.Lots of dogs go missing in Puerto Rico, for many reasons as simple as no collars or tags on pets, people allowing their animals to roam free, "animal control" picking them up, even rescuers picking them up and pet theft, among other reasons. I believe pet theft on the island runs rampant. Lots of purebreds in Puerto Rico for the snatching. Jennifer's new website is a great addition to the island's blog scene, and is complete with stories, photos and happy endings, although mostly in Spanish for you English readers out there; it's pretty easy to get the idea though. And it's a great way for rescuers to double check that they haven't picked up a familiy's beloved pet that was cared for but got loose...The website also features a "Found" section, showing the empathy people have for others who have lost their pets, and is another great resource for the community. There are some cute pictures too. Jennifer may just have to start a Petfinder site to help in adoptions if those homes aren't found!A big thanks to Jennifer for not only serving the community by helping it with its lost pets and educating on responsible pet ownership, but also for being my good and supportive friend. She is a truly great woman, among so many others working in animal welfare in Puerto Rico.
